Dr. Millie Chung was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. After earning her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Boston University, Dr. Chung started her career in Brooklyn, New York. It was here that Dr. Chung discovered that the key to effective care lies in understanding the whole patient — considering not just their teeth, but their overall health, lifestyle, and individual needs. Dr. Chung’s philosophy is rooted in a comprehensive, wholistic approach to dentistry. She believes that oral health cannot be viewed in isolation; it is intrinsically connected to overall well-being.

After five years of refining her skills and knowledge, Dr. Chung felt ready to open her own practice. In June 2013, she returned to her hometown of Los Angeles, eager to bring her vision of comprehensive, patient-centered care to life. She chose a location on Hollywood Boulevard, drawn to the neighborhood’s energy and potential. Dr. Chung envisioned a practice that would grow alongside this dynamic part of the city, building lasting relationships with patients and gaining their trust through exceptional dental care.

With a deep passion for helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles, Dr. Chung is proud to lead Birdseye Dentistry and provide the highest standard of care for every patient.

Dr. Daniel Lee

DDS

Born and raised in Torrance, Dr. Daniel S Lee, DDS, brings skill, precision, and a passion for patient-centered care to Birdseye Dentistry. A graduate of the UCLA School of Dentistry, Dr. Lee has advanced training in prosthodontics, complex treatment planning, and full-mouth rehabilitations. His expertise includes everything from digital dentistry and implant placement to endodontic care and cosmetic smile makeovers.

With years of hands-on experience and a commitment to continuing education, Dr. Lee stays at the forefront of dental advancements. He believes in blending art and science to provide tailored, lasting solutions that fit each patient’s unique needs and lifestyle. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Harbor Dental Society as well as Global Dental Alliance, a local dental society focused on international dental education and community service.

Dr. Lee welcomes new patients to be part of the Birdseye Dentistry family, where comprehensive dental care and modern technology come together to create beautiful, confident smiles.

Born and raised in Chino Hills, California, Dr. Steven Kim brings a compassionate and evidence-based approach to patient care at Birdseye Dentistry. His journey into dentistry was fueled by a desire to work in healthcare, combined with a passion for hands-on work and helping others achieve confident smiles.​

Dr. Kim earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University. He further honed his skills during a general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, where he gained extensive experience in treating diverse patient populations and managing complex dental cases.​

With a strong foundation in general dentistry, Dr. Kim has particular interests in extractions, fixed dental work, and vital pulp therapy. He is committed to continuous learning and is excited to incorporate cutting-edge techniques into his practice to enhance patient well-being.

Dr. Kim is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Korean American Dental Association. He has also been involved in community service through Loma Linda University’s Service Learning program, reflecting his dedication to giving back.

Outside the office, Dr. Kim enjoys staying active with basketball, snowboarding, and running. He is also a proud uncle to a golden retriever, a golden doodle, and a mini golden doodle.
